Zexi graduated from University of Malaya with Bachelor of Law (Hons) in the year of 2020. He completed his pupillage in Messrs T.L. CHEN & CO. and was then admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in July 2021. 

He gained certain knowledge and experience in both conveyancing and civil litigation through internships at Messrs S.K. Song in 2017 and Messrs Ricky Tan & Co in 2019 respectively. The internship at Guangxi Sunward Law Firm, Nanning, China in 2019 which he has actively participated in also equipped him with vast exposure on Chinese Law and various corporate documents.

After completing his pupillage, Zexi continued in T.L. CHEN & CO. as Legal Associate. He has gained entensive knowledge on conveyancing matters and was given the platform and opportunities to expand his networking by dealing with real estate negotiators, bankers and mortgage consultants. Zexi was leading a team of 2 lawyers and 3 supporting staffs before he left the firm and joined Messrs Leong & Co. as a partner in February 2024.
