Sophia read her law at University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom and obtained her LLB (Hons) in year 2012. Thereafter she enrolled in Lincoln’s Inn to do Bar Professional Training Course in September 2012 and she was called to the Bar of England and Wales in year 2013.

Upon her return to Malaysia, she chambered in the firm of Messrs Amir Faezal, Norzela & Chong, a firm of solicitor in Kuala Lumpur.

During the period of her chambering with the said firm, she has acquired knowledge in the field of general litigation, banking litigation and criminal. Upon completion of her chambering, she was called to the Malaysian Bar in January 2015.

Subsequent to that, she has joined the firm of Messrs Ravi Moorthi, Noriza, Mala & Partners, Petaling Jaya as legal assistant and handling matters involving:

• Civil litigation: Banking litigation and family law matter.
• Conveyancing matter that include: Consumer Loan, Housing Loan, Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Loan, Corporate Loan, Islamic Loan, Sale and Purchase Agreement, Tenancy Agreement, Developer Project Agreement and Joint Venture Agreement.

Subsequently, she left the firm in July 2017 and joined Messrs Leong & Co. as a partner in January 2018. She specialize in Conveyancing, Corporate & Tenancy matters.
